Curator, Michel Lee hosts this fascinating handling session looking at the basics of telling the real from the fake. This session will show you how to look at the subtle messages in bases and foot rims of ceramics. You’ll never look at your dinner plates in the same way again.

Michel Lee has been curator of the Museum of East Asian Art since 2007 and previously worked at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C as project Director of the Asian Cultural History Programme.
